SIX NATIONS IS GOING TO BE FANTASTIC – YOUNGS

With the Six Nations beginning soon, England Grand Slam Winner, Ben Youngs is fully convinced that this year’s Six nations tournament would be one of the most brutal competitions yet.

With England raking up 14 consecutive wins and going through 2016 unbeaten, and as winners of the Six Nations previous edition, and a Test Series against Australia Down Under, Youngs insists that England would be having a lot of opposition and targets at their backs.

Youngs, who spoke on behalf of Land Rover – a long term supporter of rugby at all levels, said:

“If you look across the board, it should be one of the most competitive Six Nations to be a part of. It’s going to be fantastic, each team has had some impressive performances and some big results. We know that’s going to lead to some big competition.”

He is setting his sights on a greater competition – a chance for a second British & Irish Lions tour this summer since after featuringfour years ago in Australia.

Having taken home their first Grand Slam in 2003 since the Rugby World Cup glory, Youngs and the rest of his England team mates will be on a lot of pressure to endeavor they hit the ground running in the Six Nations competition.

However, for a team like theirs led by the impeccable Eddie Jones whom since taking over the reins of leadership of the squad, is yet to experience any defeat, they could be on the road to keep up their winning record for a long while.

Youngs believes that despite their unbeaten run, it should not be a time to relax or dilly dally. Instead, they should be all out attacking and not defending it, a line which the coach has also reiterated over time.
